any one know how to take the throttle control assembley off?? im tryin to get the panel off to get reupholstered and cant seem to figure out how to get the throttle assembly off, out, do ya gotta un hook the cables at the pump and carb. and pull the cables out that way?? or ??????, 1998 eagle e6, morse throttle shifter control. any help would be greatly appreceated!!! the river is open and we need to get the upholstery done and back in the boat! thanxs all!!! |

If you remove the screws holding the bezel into the panel. Then check under the dash and make sure there is enough slack in the cables. You may have to cut a few zip ties. then pull the control out and to the rear. It will be tight. The vinyl side panels are snug fitting. Once the control is pulled through you can disconnect the cables by undoing the cotter pins and the cable clamps. |
