Okay so here is a little update on the Turbines. Waiting on a couple gauges and some fuel fills. We will be mounting oil catch cans and fuel pump and a custom can to deliver air free fuel to heart of the beast. Roll bar in place and ready to tig.

There will be more anodized fittings and stainless braided line than you could find at you average speed shop. plumbing underway and wiring next week then Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Gords is in the pics and John Derry is the lucky owner of Turbine 23 #2, Johns boat is at about the same progress minus half the cage. Both of these units will be about a week apart in tearing up the liquid race tracks.

I will keep you updated with pics and info as they go together

Just got the air intake from Fibre-werx in Sylvan Lake They do great work, Gave them a drawing of what we wanted and they had the mold made and three cranked out for us like that. Anybody needing fibreglass work/repair done these guy's are GOOD!

Anyway the first turbine is almost wired up and plumbed, tanks are fabbed and ready for paint.

What is fuel consumption on these turbines compared to a big hp unlimited motor - what size tanks are going in?

fuel consumption is approx 25% more than an unlimited gas engine 65-70 for the gas 90-95 for the turbine ,factor in about 10% faster speed its not a lot more The boats will have 2-45 gal tanks Hear is another nice fact wholesale jetA price approx 1.00 per litre 410$ per hour wide open. unlimited gas using c-14 last time I checked 295 liters x 3.05=900.55 per hour

Pretty close to being wrapped up on this one, then Johns should be done for the following week.

The cover over the turbine is to streamline it a bit and there will be a stainlees wire mesh over each intake opening.

These boats look FANTASTIC Cool They will both be at the Peace River Race so it would be a great race to get too. Idea
