I am thinking about installing a plastic wear ring in my american SD 309. Wondering if any body else has done this. Pros. cons. installation. |

I've had 2 stainless that stood up unbelievably well, never tried plastic and not sure of cost comparison but the stainless was definately money well spent. |

I had one and initially liked it in my berkely JC, but eventually hated it when it came out and turned into a big hone stone on my suction piece! Totally screwed the suction piece! The right size of pebble got into the gap and when it all started spinning, the end was quick. Stick with a good stainless shouldered wear ring and you won't have the potential for an expensive day. _________________ It was like that when I got there! |
