hi guys.
i have a 16 foot gorden ford, alicraft,x c class boat.
its very narrow at the chine(1.2) deep v for rouged water.
just got the motor out getting rebuild and more hp!
shifting some weight around in it too,to go faster.
i did have a 130 ltr tank in front of seats, and two others 60 ltrs each in rear corners,as i dont ever need that much gas i want to remove the front one,and place the rear two infront of the motor,is this wise?
i did have heps of problems once before with setup in this boat when i had only rear tanks in back corners full of gas,it would jump outa the water, the trim taps were to high off the rear of the bout too,so ive put the flush with bottom rear of hull.
theres no room besides the motor(406 s/b chev)450hp plus.
so the only place i can think of is between the motor and seats.and if it plays up on me maybe id trim the nosel down or up to improve it?
thanks for your time, greatfull for any ideas on this,
p.s if i could,id have a eagle!
nathan.

Just my opinion:
I have a friend with the same problem. With the fuel tanks in the rear (full) the front of the boats starts to hop.
You said you moved your trim tabs down flush with the bottom of hull?
I believe this should solve the problem of front end hop (now that the trim tabs are in the correct spot).
You may also look into a place diverter.
I have both trim tabs and diverter on my boat.
Both devices are very useful in certain situations.
Hope this helped.
