Idea Hey all: It has been my long time dream to river race. I finally got permission to do so from the boss/wife (it wasn't pretty but I got the go ahead).
It is probable going to take me one maybe even two years to get a good race boat together. So I think that gives me some time to learn more about river racing. What I am after is some experience. I have a 21 foot outlaw with a 502ci, but just being able to rip up/down river @ 85mph is not enough experience to compete with most or any of you racers I have watched @ the "Worlds" in Whitecourt and G. Prairie.
So what I propose is this... Anyone in the circuit that would like to have a volunteer for their team, I'm your man. Weather you would like to use my boat as a good "pre-run" boat, or maybe you need a extra set of hands or even a vehicle to do some "running around", or even if the race comity needs volunteers, whatever!!! I would just like to be involved.
Just to let you guys now that I am very serious... I will accomplish my dream. YOU WILL SEE ME AROUND!!

Viking, your not that far away ( Alberta Beach). The Whitecourt River Boat Club plans on holding our first meeting of the year sometime in April.

Come join us.

Lots of opportunity to get to involved with the racing community and some good family boating fun. Let me know if your interested and I'll forward you the details once we set a date.

& Doc...if your selling it better be due to upgrading!!

WTF Viking 2007 C class world champion boat, good entry boat 102 mph in Peace River 50 mph winds and raining, horrible 2 days of weather, sure was fun though. Hit 100 mph back in Whitecourt on last day, couldnt have hurt the bottom to much. Come to the meeting in WC on the 31st and make me an offer.
