Dale was talking about this a bit yesterday and while he didn't name the boat they did find that sounds very possible. He said it was a Kiwi boat that sank in the 80's

how weird is that

Cheers

We had a meeting last night at GP and the guys from Grande Cache are interested in having a race leave from there. Man would there be some carnage. Up till a few years ago there was still the hull of NZ boat on the bank that sunk in the rapids in 86.

There is a crew heading up on Sunday with divers, lifting bags, chips and rum. Not sure if anybody will have a camera, but hopefully one of the local guys will document the event. It should be quite interesting if they get it out of one the suspected holes.

I think ol ma nature is going to win this battle. Was up at crazy's today and the river is up probably up a couple of feet since Chad found Ray's boat. It's boiling again through that stretch.

I have been sent some pictures from one of the recovery days just haven't got them up yet. Of course most of them are uneventful as they are playing around with the older Kiwi boat they found and there aren't even any shots of the part they recovered.
Ill get them up shortly

Cheers
