Just kidding, nothing could stand the beating this boat took. I stopped when up the tuchodi and looked in this thing. Dash is twisted that the glove boxes won't close, swim grid is bowed, was half sunk when we stopped. the motor came right off its mounts and busted up the boards around it. flooring is all broken on one side. Guess that is what happens when you hit a shale bank at speed. LH side is damaged as well, not as bad but dented up. Hull is screwed. Hamilton and the 8.1 litre should be good. Apparently some guys came in from Prince George??? and got it running and drove her out. Anyone know who's boat is is/was? We understand it is a guy from Chetwynd??

We've been hearing stories about this boat, or rather this misadventure. If Im thinking of the same story these guys were injured in the incident and the boat was indeed left behind.
That is shocking to see that much damage
Hope all were/are ok

yes when we were up there it was said that one fellow was hurt and h ad to be taken out as he had torn his cheek wide open. Others though were with the boat when we first seen them and they got a ride out.
Story has it that there were two incidents. The rear corner in the pics has a piece of aluminum tek screwed to it with rtv silicone. THis patch was done by a couple of old fellows for the boat owner farther up river. They then proceeded to head out again and hit the shale bank doing the rest of the damage. They state that they lost steering but..... Speed is what witness say.... They then had a notion that they would float out..... You don't float the Tuchodi in a 21 foot boat. Finally they got there wits and tied her tied up.
