From the mouth up to just past Tenaka Creek is "No Problem", a couple little bony streatches but nothing too bad. Once you get past Tenaka there is a really bouldery section for about 300 yrds. It's not too bad going up through, but it can be a real boat crusher on the way back down.
Once you get through it's good again till you get to the splits (very similar to the splits at the upper end of the Tuchodi River). |

Here is a little look at the the Prophet River from Sept 1st this yr. Keep in mind that the rivers are very high this yr, and there is not anywhere near this much water normally. Most of this was filmed above Tenaka Creek.
Enjoy

That sounds like one of those freak of nature things that spices up the videos but makes for some nail biting along the way. I've noticed this phenomenon on several rivers I've been on and have tried to imagine what it would be like if it happened as you were passing _________________ 17' Firefish Frenzy, 200 opti, 8 degree rock chewin' bottom. Just got back from a ride up the Prophet, From the Muskwa up to just bellow the big slide. Just above Tenaka Cr. the whole riverbed is pretty much dry, and the river has carved a new path through the trees.

Now that's a portage! Gotta hand it to the guy that installed the bow eye, kept expecting it to rip out and sail through the back window of the truck. _________________ "renegade eagle dipshit crew" |
