As a racer at this years event I wanted to thank Louie Bossio from AMS Engines for volunteering his time for engine tech'ing. Specifically the FX - ZZ4 engine class. The growth of this class as evidenced by the 14 entries clearly demonstrates a majority acceptance of a "crate engine only" class.
Engine inspections by Louie provided the proof that it was to be fair end equal for all.

I should clarify the photo before Louie calls me out . He was reaching for my beer. Rob and I were up there doing one of Rob's engines and we brought in a cooler of beer. Louie was not drinking anything, because it was only 10:00 hrs and he likes to drink a bit later in the day!

Buddy sitting waiting while his FX boat (Burning Cash?) gets teched looks like he's hoping they don't notice the 383 crank
Thank-you to Louie and all of the race organizers and support people from the three associations that put on a excellent race!!!!!!
