6.o supercharged VS. 5.7 how bads the difference on fuel , say on the E6. Tryin to put together a 50 - 60 MPH boat just not sure what size engine to use. Like power and speed but would like not to have to fuel up every 1/2 hour either. Any ideas ?

If you are looking for speeds of 50 to 60 mph you may be better off going with a 21' Sport with open bow. The 6 liter SC will be around 65 mph. The 5.7 will be cheaper on fuel but and should be around 50 mph.

Last year I ran a 19.5 ft. Hamilton/6Lt. @ 41 to 4200 R.P.M. With a gull wing bottom. I was getting about 52.M.P.H. This year I am running 6Lt.SC with a 810 Scott pump W.O.T. 4700 R.P.M probably burning about 12 to 15 gal per hr. At GPS. speeds of 60+M.P.H. At these speeds who cares what G.P.H. you burn? Chill man! Or get a race boat also! What really shines is how slow you can plane and cruise with or with out a load. 6LT. SC. 2900 R.P.M. 30 M.P.H. 6.5 G.P.H. with load.
