Any skinny boats interested in a neat run, the Blindman River is do-able for a couple more days I suspect.
We ran it up to Aspelund Bridge and could have gone much further. The first section to 2A is the best Very Happy . I only kissed one lurker but sustained no trauma Twisted Evil .

Hey Skinny how are ya?
Last time i ran the BM was back in the 70's in this boat.
She has seen more water on the upper and lower Red Deer than the banks have and knows every rock by name.

Boat is owned by a very good friend of mine.
Cheers,
Emery

Emery:

That's amazing! Shocked
With the water levels now, I suspect that may be more of a challenge than I'd be willing to take Embarassed
I even tried to challenge the Waskasoo Creek in Red Deer but after the first couple of corners realized that I may have trouble turning the beast around so I gave up Rolling Eyes

Ran the waskasoo creek right up to red deer lodge but couldnt get under the bridge, the only way to turn around was to keep running up the bank until you had it turned around. Have been up the blindman to bently, pretty boring after 2a bridge though.

Doc, Skinny;
I've been looking at a bunch of video , watchin the guys run theses
rivers. I can't believe how little water there is since I ran them way
back when. That Red Deer doesn't look the same at all.

There's no way I'd even attempt it with my big long tank lol.
Hats off to you guys though looks like a rush!

Here's some pics of the Blindman today near the mouth. The recent rains are making it rock and roller:

Just talked with some kayakers and they said there were some 2 M standing waves between Hwy 2A and the mouth.
Sounds like fun Twisted Evil Twisted Evil !

I drove home from High River yesterday. Every river, stream and creek was boiling over the banks. Lot's of trees and debris flowing down the N. Sask.
