Installing a pump brg in a berk pump(the notch in the brg faces which way)????????im thinking the thrust pushes forward sooo notch towards the impeller...........i guess ive been running the american turbine too long totally different set up thanks for any input

This should help.

Note: newer bearings are bi-directional and do not matter which way they are installed. They usually do not have this notch
