love this shot, great to see the reverse angle with the crowds and you get a much better idea how rough this area really is.

Cheers

Jeda productions was at the race this year with 6 cams and is producing an HD video. Im not sure if it will be released in DVD format or what but it will be great to see. They had problems with their mobile camera's so we provided them will all our helmet cam footage. I got every leg except leg one didn't record for some reason and the 2nd last leg also messed up. The cam was on Kareys SJ for the last leg and ran fine till he found a BIG rock in time zone and knocked the record button "off".

I tried about 4 different camera mounts, facing back over my shoulder etc. You will be shocked when you see the one leg with "bobble head" the navigator. No wonder my neck is sore!

Yes AII very beautiful and moreso with the nice weather we had this year.

Cheers

JEDA told us they tentativley have the "program" sold to TBS for cable broadcast. Their hope is to get it broadcast and then get contractual commitments from "them" to follow the US circuit next year. One of the guys said Jet river Racing has TV written all over it. "The WILDEST boats on the WILDEST water with "wild" people".

Awesome news Gary

Am I the only one that can't wait to see Dwain L grunting and flexing like a wrestler on cable TV LOLOL (you had to be there I suppose)

Also it could prove to be the dramatic network debut of Karey's newly nicknamed navigator "TS" hahahaha

Ill call them today to see how they made out with our helmet cam footage and get as current info as I can

Cheers

Duane Labrum (South Idaho Duane) told the JEDA guy that he would pay almost whatever it took to have the North Idaho Dwain footage.........then maybe everyone could "be there".

Just had a lengthy chat with Jeff from Jeda. Sounds very promising and they sound like a great group to work with. I've offered OE's full cooperation for anything they need and sounds like he was quite happy with the helmetcam footage we got for them.

Im pretty sure we'll be seeing Dwain very soon hehe "TS" is definatly not safe either LOL

Interesting to note after talking for a while it seems that the video they used to pitch the race to the bigger networks likely was my Tinny from Hell production "Don't Follow Me You Won't Make It" on Youtube. Jeff said some "big names" saw that video

Looking forward to helping these guys get us more exposure in the future

Cheers

Jeff will definitely keep me posted on that but they haven't even got the production done yet (they are still capturing our helmet cam footage)

It sounds like it will air on more local stations first then hopefully they can get a big name to bite.

Either way, when I know you will know

Cheers

Nice find, thats this year for sure (The place with the red roof wasn't there last year)

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=riggins+idaho&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=17&ll=45.43222,-116.315356&spn=0.00582,0.013497&t=h&om=1

The guy going upstream was taking a waaaaaaay wide line in that corner. not sure if that was common or not. We certainly cut that corner tight to the inside

very hard to see in that video but that's "glass wave" there. a noticeable drop in the river which last year was basically just one big rolling wave but with this years flows was a bit more treacherous series of about 4 long very 'smooth" rollers. You'd come in fast and be airborn before you knew it if you didn't know they were there.

Can't wait till next year already!

Cheers
