I was wondering how a guy might go about mounting a kicker on a Lynx.
With the full swim deck I am a little at a loss as to how to go about it.
Does a guy have to mount a bracket to the swim deck?
Should I put in rubber grommets?
What thickness should the aluminum be for a 10hp 4 stroke?
Will a 9.9 be enough to push a 16' Lynx with the Tuchodi special bottom?

I have seen the kicker bracket welded to the swim deck. I have a bigfoot merc 9.9 hp on the back of my ride. The thing weighs at least 130 pounds.
Talk to Outlaw as they probably have a bracket kit that is available to have welded up.

We build a bracket that mounts on the swim grid. A 9.9 works well as a trolling motor on the Lynx. It will handle up to 20 hp 4 stroke. HD kicker bracket $550.00

Ordered the smaller bracket from Bernie yesterday as there were no big ones in stock and I need it ASAP. So the kicker mounts directly on the bracket? This is going to be a tiller steer kicker.

The kicker mounts to the bracket. Tiller engines work good with this bracket.
