The Riggins Race Committee wishes to announce that $200 (USD) Local Sponsorships are now available !!

First registered=First sponsored.

Need your name, boat number and class, your personal contact info, (address, phone, e-mail) and entry / registration fee. Entry fees for this years race are posted at bottom of this page. (Remember ALL entry fees collected will be presented to a local community / charitable organization.)
With the exception of SportJet where entry will be returned to purse money.

You are then assigned a local sponsor. At Tech-In / Boat Show the sponsor will provide 2 decals / stickers (approx 2 square feet) that you will need to attach to your boat (you may remove them after the event if you wish- I am sure they would appreciate you taking their name everywhere else, but that is up to you) and hand you your $200. If there are more sponsors than boats, then first registered get MORE sponsors. For example…..if there are 20 sponsors and 15 boats then the first 5 boats registered (and paid) get 2 local sponsors and $400. (You must actually show up and be capable of starting a leg.) You don’t have to pre-register but your chance to get a sponsor is better. (If there are 15 sponsors and 20 boats, the last 5 to register DON’T get a local sponsor). Your chance to get more sponsorship is much better.

Boats that had sponsors last year will be able to keep the same sponsor for this year. This will make every boat the “town” boat with folks pulling for you. We would ask that you be willing and able to do a little PR and let these sponsors be a part of the experience. Pictures with you and boat. Answer their questions. Allow them (or their 5 year old) to sit in the seat if they wish (not in the water unless you want them to). Sponsors to get some pit passes and be allowed to “hang out”. Anything else you can think of to make them feel welcome and that they got something for their $$$$$.

The Salmon River Race in Riggins is always the third FULL weekend in April. For 2007 the Tech-In/boat show is Friday April 20. Racing Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd.
