Any one tried the new impellor in a 175 SJ?
How does it go?
Cheers

Has anyone now put a new white water impellor in a SJ175hp?
How much RPM are you losing on the 240hp?
I see the SJ175hp manual allowable WOT is 5000-55000 rpm.
Would the 175hp be able to drive the new type blade to within this RPM do you think?
Cheers

I put the new hi-skew impeller in my 240 sj. awesome, I never lost any rpm, I did lose 2 mph on the top end tho, but gained an incredible hole shot, you can hold wot and turn at the same time without spinning out |

did you change the wear ring as well? I am contemplating the plastic wear ring with the high skew impeller |

I've been using that impeller in my 175 since April, it works well on packing big loads and cornering, it has jammed up on me a couple times though but that was minor. i pull 5200 rpm |
