Went down to White court to watch the circuit races Sunday afternoon. Walked down to the river just upriver of the bridge. Stood on shore watching the first 3 heats as were another 20 - 30 people in the same spot. Anyways getting to the point. When the A and unlimited boats came up river , of course Spenser was the first one everyone on shore took about 4 or 5 steps back including me and lots of things like holy s**t were were said. From were I was watching It seemed that Spencer was by far the fastest boat there and by along shot. Just wondering if they had a radar gun set up there this weekend . Any one know how fast the sunset shaker was running this weekend. |

keen to know speed also, some kiwi boats are up to 120mph.. and have heard of others pushing past this... of course it's all academic once you get onto a good braided shallow river.. |

I wasn't there, but if the Shaker was running on all 8
( which I heard it was ) it was for sure hitting speeds in excess of 120 mph. Which is normal for this boat ( 6 time world Champs ) 5 CONSECUTIVE _________________ Bulls Eye Enterprises Inc.

his last world champ in NZ was simply awesome to watch... he did not win it soley with speed, it was masterful driving and navigating which is the number one attribute required for the kiwi rivers. if you have not raced these rivers then you have too!!!! a real eye opener, it is a victory on it's own just to finish some legs like the Matukituki, Dart or Rakaia.. |

Spencer was really flying, not sure how fast. The air at Whitecourt was not great for power. Ther was some great racing and Vince should have some great footage soon. |
