Gonna a put a zz4 into my boat and just wandering what kind of impeller works best with this engine? Boat is a 19ft sport delta bottom with a legend pump
Also what carb works best with this engine? I do have a rochester carb off my old 350 I can put on it. |

I've had good luck the ZZ4s and have ran a "B" impeller and try to keep the engine around that 4800 / 4900 RPM range. A buddy (Frank) just had a melt down on his ZZ4, but had been running 5150 RPM with pump gas. Run good fuel if are going to push it past 5000 RPM.
I also ran a 750 Holly. |

Demon makes a carb specifically for the zz4. I think its a 750, comes with the right jetting. |

We were out on Saturday and had a nice ride with my Daughter, her lazy assed boyfriend and a co-worker named Fishstick.
I'll be out this week a few times, I hope. |
