Pulled the motor and pump out of the SJ today. The gasket under the pump was starting to push out and needed to be reset. Turns out the rock I tagged at Riggins did a little more than expected. Hit just to the left of the intake and put a 1/4 inch rise in the skidplate. After pulling the pump it was evident that the keel was also pushed up and bowed the mounting flange for the pump about .060 inch. Evil or Very Mad Got that straightened out and welded up three cracks that were not visible with the motor in place. Should have it all wrapped up for the weekend.
