Headset is a good one.Maybe being solo in the boat deletes the need to try to talk over the noise or gagging the passengers so I dont always need to scream what might be a couple of solutions worth trying?I was wondering if anyone has tried a spray foam or some type of isolating mounts for the motor |

There's a few good posts on this from years past. Search noise. Lots of guys spray rubber on the mufflers/exhaust piping, inside the engine cover, on anything that isn't solid or can resonate. If it vibrates, it makes noise at some frequency... |

I meant communications headsets, like Baja vehicles or offshore boats, but I see the humor with just using earplugs too. |

I laid a rubber mat on the Swim grid. this seemed to help as much as anything. I also carpeted the inside hull and wrapped the mufflers. _________________ You are not lost if you Don't care where you are |
