TransAlta gives me a call. I am on there list of people to notify so I usually pass on the info.
Yes the dam will re-open after 24 hours. Last year we were camped at the Dam during the shut down and the water was very low. We did manage to get the boat in the water below the dam but it was not easy. It was made worse because campers were blocking the best launch area. There was still water in the main channels but with much reduced depths. Use lots of caution, or it could be lots of pushing. _________________ You are not lost if you Don't care where you are |

yeah i seen some pictures of it yesterday, friends were down at the trunk road by nordegg, its crazy how low the levels were. I appreciate the heads up! |
