T-REX,
Boating above Smokey Flats is good, gets a little rougher near the Cutbank and on to Kakwa. Above the Kakwa it gets bigger at the chutes but it can be run if you have a look at it first. Changing water levels mean changing conditions, but I was up to the chutes with a 16' lynx w/175sj last year. I didn't go through because I was loaded up with too much passenger weight to try! Go up and have a look, it is some nice territory. Keep the power on at all times though, current is fast and might surprise a guy if he is sleeping at the wheel! _________________ It was like that when I got there! |

Just was went up to the where the Kakwa river comes in. What a good time. That's a fun section of river. _________________ 19' Hammerhead. |
