Please move this to the appropriate section if this isn't the correct one.
I have called most everywhere I can think of to find engines, and am having no luck. Trying to help two new race teams. One would like a spare, and the other just had an engine fail on them again.
I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on what to do in this situation. Both these teams have worked too hard to not race. Thoughts? I know it's unlikely to be allowed, but could the CT 400 be made to work with some changes?

I noticed this morning that the ZZ5 isnt even on the chevroletperformance.com small block list anymore...
Maybe the CT400 with the proper intake manifold? That oil pan probably wouldn't be right hand turn friendly like the CT525. The CT355 is as close to a ZZ4 as you can get.

I'd be willing to order a CT 400 so that it could be looked at closely and then run it in my family boat. Would free up a ZZ4 for the racers.
