The rivers have been open for 2 weeks already. Lets have some spring stories! Myself i have been on the NSR and Athabasca so far. The Athabasca up at Hinton is very boney! And I mean BONEY!! Fishing was good though. The NSR was a trial to get onto, had to bust out some ice, etc. A bit of fun using the boat for an ice breaker! The ice was heavy enough that I could drive up on top of it, get out and walk around.
