Hello Guys, My first post on this site.

I am designing and going to build a 50 foot long, 12 foot beam, aluminium flat bottom vessel with a live aboard type cabin.

Just wondering if anyone had a similar idea and that we could share ideas

My idea is to have the largest vessel that can be shipped by truck/trailer over the roads to any given new location without needing special permission or expensive "Escort vehicles"

My idea is to retire on such and travel the rivers and canals of North America and Europe

Attaching a picture of a vessel that I saw on the River Rhine in Switzerland to give you an idea, obviously with a different cabin design

Any ideas, thoughts etc. would be appreciated
