I've noticed with the dog house open and the motor running that it isn't very loud with the swim grid covered and springs wrapped. Most of the sound comes from the rear of the boat where the exhaust hits the hull.

With a full load of camping gear on the noise is very minimal, so a little more sound proofing is in order.

What does outlaw use to line the engine cover in a 2012 16ft Lynx with 200 sportjet? I am wanting to try to quiet mine down a bit but not sure if I would be better off leaving the stock lining in there or replace with something else?
