Has anyone ever river boated form Windermere lake up the Columbia River? Looking at going in august with the family and was curious on the level of difficulty. Ill have a bunch of kids with me and don't want nothing to extreme for the little ones.

lots of tube and floating activity in the first few miles above the lake, somebody tried to tell me it was closed to power boats, mine seemed to launch fine. I would check it before I went again as I did get lots of looks and photo's. Hadn't got the numbers on the boat yet so no letters followed.
