Hey guys, I have a 19ft tunnel with a zz4, I trying to reach 5200-5400rpm what impeller is recommended I had a aluminum "a" impeller that came with the boat it ran 4200, I have had a shaved and balanced steel impeller unsure of what cut that brought me up to 4900. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |

I have a similar setup (20' tunnel)
I run 5100 RPMs with a B impeller. In order to get to 5400 RPMs you will have to go to a C. _________________ Wisdom chases me, but I´m faster |

And, if you do plan to run continuously at 5000 RPM or more, aluminum impellers are no good. You need a steel impeller.
Air bubbles that go through the pump (cavitation) wear out the aluminum impeller very fast. _________________ Wisdom chases me, but I´m faster |
