Don't the Seadoo's have fiberglass pumps? I was looking into a Yamaha wave runner or a Kawasaki, I think both have aluminum pumps.... comments? Also, does anyone have plans/cut sheets for a small hull like this?

Yes I believe the Seadoo has a fiberglass intake housing but looking further up in this post it looks like the Outlaw guys have had some intakes built that will match up with the Seadoo stuff.....for a few bucks!!!!

Yes they are building them and have a couple completed ready for testing. Dale had his own pumps built and is waiting for better weather to try them out. Call 403-347-4565 and ask for Dale for more info

Got to test out the little boat yesterday. Worked good, much quiter than the sport jets, turned and handled the rough water way better than i tought a little boat would ran very shallow, as it should. Still needs some trim work, but it made 56MPH down and 50 up stream, with full tank of fuel and 200 pounds of dude. Gets to 50mph in about 3 seconds.

Any ball park price tag on these yet? That looks like it could get to some pretty good fishing spots in the Skeena area. What kind of fuel capacity and range? Would you beable to build a cargo rack on the engine cover? How would a 6'5" 280 pounder fit in one...

These little boats are hard to nail a price done on. It depends on the donor PWC that is used. We are only building pump housings for the Rotax pumps, they seem to have the best choices for aftermarket impellers and S.S. wear rings.
Pending options and amount of work you do yourself you should be in the water running at $23-30 000. The bare hull without pump intake and UHMW is $5300. So build it up from there.
We are using a 19 Gallon tank and there is room for a second one if needed. Not sure on fuel burn or range yet. A good rack on the engine cover would be great, but weight is always an issue in small boats.
I’m 5’11 and 200 pounds and two of us are comfortable in there but at 6’8” and 250+ it isn’t going to be good. The new hulls we have added 2” to the side height and 6” to the length. It should be better but will still be tight.
