Does anyone know how much you have to turn an impeller down to gain rpms. For example if I want to gain 500 rpm off an impeller just how much will I have to turn it down? |

Probably about 2 sizes to begin with, BUT, I would recommend that you get the proper dimensions from your dealer or directly from the impeller manufacturer. They should be able to tell you exactly how much to machine off and at the proper angle. |

Here's a link to the Chart

You need to take a little and try it, because as you get more into your power band you'll also gain rpms. So one size and "On" cam may be 500 rpms.
