What are the main differences between the two?
In a jetboat with the same hull and pump which is better for hauling loads, fuel economy and speed ?
thinking about a winter build and leaning toward the LS3.

LSA hands down. The ls3 is a revy. Needs rpm to make the power. Lsa with a scott or Hamy will push hard and be good on fuel if yoiu keep the rpms down.
LSA is just a supercharged ls3 with more cam. Same cam as the ct525.

thanks for the feedback...the LSA is a hefty upcharge..is a ZZ383 another good option....keep in mind its going in a Nahanni type boat.

| Yes ZZ383 is a good torque motor. I run one in a big Bratt Jett Mad Dog with a Hammy. More than enough power. HP and TQ come on way lower in rpm band than the LS3 motors. |
