Thnx Tyler for posting this for us.
As you all know Glen was an avid boater and great friend to all of us, so we want to honour Glen with the Glen Freeland memorial Shoot-out. This shoot-out will be for Saturdays circuit races only, the fastest combined times for each class will win $5,000.00. And you will still be in the running for overall . So if you are lucky enough to win Saturday and have best overall for the weekend , you can go home with a pretty nice payday. The Peace River Boating Assoc. would like to thank Ron Macmillan from Macmillan construction, Darren Weaver from Weaver welding, Terry Weaver from Peace River Heating , And Chad and Willie Burns from Northsite Construction for stepping up and sponsoring this event. There needs to be a minimum of four boats in each class to qualify. Be safe , have fun and see you all here.

Great idea, I'll give it my best shot and with a little help from Glen's old boat might get lucky. Kinda stacked against us though as we have to run against the spec engines with over 100 cubes more. O well you never know.

We have another couple of very important sponsors for the Glen Freeland shootout. Glen and Kirsten's kids Morgan and Simon have each donated $2500.00 to go towards the shootout pot. Thank you Morgan , Simon , and Kirsten. This brings the shootout pot up to $25,000.00 . Split between four classes that is $6,250.00/ class. Dust off the old boats guys and come out .
