Fairly new to the jetboating scene and mechanics of it. Im running an Outlaw Clearwater with 350 Kodiak and AT309 pump with aluminum AA impeller. Around 248 hours on the boat. Starting to hear a high pitch whine and its at all rpms. Where do I start to look? I greased everything earlier this spring.
Is that a sign the driveline needs grease again?
Is it a possible bearing startinging to go?
Thanx in advance for your help!! |

Most likely the main thrust bearing.....
Once it starts making noise grease will not help
It may have developed some corrosion over winter if it was not greased in fall
Not an expensive part but you do have to pull the motor to get the mainshaft out to change it |
