Is there any chance that a race Grand Cache to Peace River would still happen or was this a one time race?

The Grande Cache to G.P. leg is a very long one, with next to nothing for a suitable pull out spot in case of trouble, suppport etc. This leg used to have a stop over at Bison flats, midway from G.C. to the Smokey Flats bridge. I think the road got put to bed a long time ago, others can chime in with their info. This would be a great leg, lots of rough water, not sure what class of rapids or how long they are or anything. There has been a few guys with family boats up there, they even have some photos i'll bet!
