Xerophobic,
Just got and watched my copy today. I would have never guessed this was you first crack at movie making. Real "bang" up job. So are you heading down for the Salmon river race? Thank you for the entertainment.
Best regards

Glad you guys are liking them!
Yes Harrison foils me again! baaah! LOL
I was going to try to sorta surprise some people about this but yea I was lucky enough(as a result of the infamous "Michigan Incident" ) to be asked by Mark Dorner to navigate his SJ on what will be our first race. Good idea or not, it will be the Salmon River in April! It may be a good idea to tackle it in the slower/smaller boat to get a feel for it before I undertake one in the tunnel. But that is the eventual goal.
Im extremely excited to be able to put some names and faces to the nicknames and screen names and place some well deserved handshakes on some people that have helped me out last year. I can't wait. Mark and I are madly trying to get all our safelty gear organised and Its a shame Im not closer to help out with the boat prep. It should be a great adventure tho. 5.5 hours for me to get to Marks place then we undertake and 2000+ MILE drive to Riggins, haha ya think we're dedicated or insane? maybe both but Im still looking forward to it!
Cheers
(doooh! can't the spell/grammer checker correct typo's too lol, Yea I recall it was alot closer to swing by Alberta and check it out when we're at the race) _________________ T-53 , why go up and down when you wanna go round and round????

I think I would call it dedicated insanity. Or insane dedication. Or just nuts about boats!
Guess we have nothing to say about our 750 mile drive compared to 2015. Excuse me, that's 5 hours plus 2015, grand total of about 2400 miles. Might be easier to just start a race where you guys are already at! _________________ -Jesse |

You know Jessie that Gatorjetboats has sold a good amount hulls and AR in Iowa H2 in Wis,Lead in Mich and there are 3 boats owned in Indiana we may have enough to start a series.Midwest Series Rock river and go from Rockfalls to the Quad cities like 40 miles of 2ft deep river. _________________ Old Age and Treachery always Overcome Youth and Skill! |

Xero, Sorry I didn't mean to out you. I didn't know it was a secret until lead called me last night and by then it was too late. Sorry.
We definitely need at least one race closer to home...
How's this for a promotional series. Get 4-6 sportjets and prep them exactly the same and truck them to all the races. that way drivers can fly-in, rent the boat and it would be a straight up true production class event. Insurance would be a nightmare and someone would have to front a bunch of cash for the fleet but it could be cool. AHRMA the org that I race motorcycles with did it a few years back with BMW r1200's.
Lot's of miles of rivers here, but not to much of the foam and flow... _________________ Harrison

haha no worries man I was going to let the cat out of the bag at some point anyway
I thought of a new name today, a little tribute to ya
"Coffee Crisp Express"
haha we may need some to survive the drive to Idaho!
I'll try to find time to do a 're-edit' for the michigan part of my DVD with Marks footage included, some of the night stuff and shots of Jeff are totally classic! I'd forgotten about the guys in the fishing boat that came by twice, once when my boat was fully under and later once we had it up. I recall it was pretty funny hearing them ask where the "big boat" was when they passed the first time LOL
cheers
p.s. yes I will remember to bring ya some CC _________________ T-53 , why go up and down when you wanna go round and round???? |

There's lots of things that have the initials "CC" that I like from Canada.
There is actually footage of those fisherman saying that? I guess I haven't watched it. Man I need to get me one of them tin can boats, Mark doesn't let me drive near enough

Its pretty easy Gator just shoot me an address. Even better if you're willing to swap something you may have, I'll watch anything jetboat related! Anyone out there have any Salmon river stuff? I really wanna see what I've gotten myself into other than the evil clown sinking vid which may not be the most encouraging thing to keep watching lol

I second that one!
Where can I get footage showing sections from the coarse we will be running on the Salmon this year? I've seen many still shots but video to study prior to the baptism would be great. |
