The rivers around Roseburg are in really good shape this year. I am not on line much but as it gets closer to race time I can give you info on the river. Hopefully I can make more than one race this year.

That will make two of us if I get to make it. If I do go I am thinking about bringing my boat along just to do some playing but then I may not. However if I do, and they need an extra boat for something then it can be used. It only does 31 so it is a bit slow. |

hey gator if ya want i can use a party cup to scoop water up in front and run to the stern and dump it in the river repeatedly. this should net you an extra fraction of a decimal of a small bit of a mile per hour. of course i will need to have plenty of beer for this service. this offer goes out to you too baldy |

That might work except I have a self draining bow, it all really depends on how I feel. However I really would like to come. The rivers over the past few days are getting low but. The channel around elk island is about 3/4 dry but we are having some rain. |

I looked at the water yesterday and it looks pretty interesting, and yes that rock is still there. If the rains continue and the river holds you should have a very good race. I will see you out there.

For all of you heading to Roseburg this weekend, the river looks to be in Really nice shape. See you this weekend, and in Riggins.

I haven't been down to Stewart park, but the bridges in town and at the VA are in good water, everything looks like it is almost as high if not at the same level as last year. You should have a good race this year, we had some rain last night and according to the weather reports we are supposed to get more but I don't know how much. I will tell you this much the west side of elk island is a no-no for even jets but the east side looks good. I don't know how far up you can make it but I know for sure you can go as far as you did last year. |
