Very nice pictures for sure, how long would a ride like that take? it looks like something the family would enjoy. Also any chance on some directions?

Saunders Boat Launch is approx 65 km west of Rock Mtn House on Hwy 11. There is a sign for Saunders and Camp Alexo on the left. Keep left as soon as you take the turn and follow the road down, its approx 5 km, there is lots of places to camp on the way down, and there is a campground right at the launch but its a provincial one and will run u about $20-25 a night.
The River is big and wide from Saunders to the Trunkroad which is about 28 km. Then from the Trunkroad Bridge up to the Bighorn Dam is about 25 km, It is a bit more technical in low water conditions, But normally during the day the Dam opens up and the water is high. It is a really nice run, lots of channels to play in.

That looks like an awesome trip. Hey Little Dipper, if your going to go on Fathers day you should let me know, I may be able to go as well. I would love to do the trip, but would hate to do it with only one boat. Safety in numbers they say. And if any one else is thinking of a trip there, let me know.
Thanks.

Yea for sure, I haven't decided yet what I want to do. It would be a unfamilar strech so Im not sure if I want to bring the family or not. Might have to make a run up it first and then see if it's safe enough for the little ones. I don't think mama would want to take the one month old down some tight channels. I'll keep you in the loop if and when I decide to go.
