Will a 14 degree hull bottom be ok for running the N Saskatchewan near Prince Albert (think sand bars and some minor rapids) and the Churchill River system which is really a whole series of connected smaller lakes in N Sask in the Canadian shield with some bigger fast rapids.

Looking forward to some bigger river knowledge here! thx

Depends on the size and weight of the boat plus the drivers skills. A 12 deg was known as the all around boat. Does pretty good on the river and still turns pretty well without sliding. Not that you can't get them to slide. A 14 degree boat that reasonably lite would be fine.

19ft, 1830lbs with 200 Opti SJ is what I am looking at.

There's a wier in PA but you're good on either side of it. On the Churchill you will be stuck between two waterfalls wherever you go but there is usually lots of area between them.
