Want to put a diverter on my SD 309 pump. Running a 20 ft E6 and wondering which is better in the opinion of most, a manual or hydraulic? |

both do pretty much the same job, only reason i prefer hydraulics is cuz you can mount your trim control on the steering wheel, that way you can run throttle /steer and trim at the same time.just my 2bits _________________ if ya cant hit bottom ,beat the hell outta the sides |

Manual controls are junk, use hydraulic. Ive had both and it didnt take long to get rid of the manual one. _________________ HANG ON NUTLICKER !! |

Manuals quicker.Especially on the upper red at 80 plus.Usually you should be turning the wheel rather than looking for the trim switches that are now rapping around the wheel. If you do go hydrolic get your boat trimed up to where it runs clean then put it on the trailer without touching the trim control and measure the distance between the cylinder and make your self a stop that way if you ever lose your electric over hydrolic trim you don't have to ride that bronc all the way back to the truck. My two sents worth. |
