Just bought a 2001 20ft Sabre E6. Would I have the QT100 bottom on this model? How tough are the hulls from this year? Can I run the Murray or up to the Tuchodi worry free? |

Was that the boat listed for $35K? The 19' Eagle Marine with a 240 SJ?
If so, I guess I can remove it from my saved ads on Kijiji. |

You can never run the Tuchodi in the fall worry free ...too many big rocks
If you have QT100 steel on the bottom it will be obvious ....a 2 ft wide steel plate bolted to the bottom.
If you are not sure about a river ...always travel with another boater who has run that area unless you have a well equipped boat and lots of experience.
We have towed lots of damaged boats off the Muskwa/Tuchodi ...most of them first time boaters that a salesman had told "our boats can go up the Tuchodi"
Thats why the Outlaw Tuchodi Special model came standard with 1/2 inch 6061 keel plus full teflon and 9 stringers.
Some of the other builders have since copied the design but only a couple have got it right. |
