Install a "Place Diverter", then you've got the full range of wedge up or down. I put it on my E6 and it works great but I've never packed a moose before, just tons of people. Definitley wedge down rather than up to get you on step quicker though.

o.k im still an idiot,, wedge down means the nozzle will be pointing more up? thicker part of wedge will be on the botton of the nozzle?

Nope, the opposite of that. The nozzle will be pointing more down than up.

Wedging down will give you more lift but also may make the boat bow steer or plow.

Often a set of trim tabs will give you more lift and allow you to pack more gas, guns and beer.

After you burn off the gas, shoot off the ammo and drink all the beer with a bit of luck you will have a moose to put in the boat so your trim stays constant.

The disadvantage of the place diverter adjustable trim on a riverboat is it sticks out farther and is prone to damage on starting out or when sliding over ledges .....and moose seem to like areas where the water is shallow and the rocks are hard.

Have you looked into the new trim nozzle for the AT/Berk and Legend pumps coming out on the market posted on meanchicken? They look like a nice compact trim/split duck reverse kit that will not stick out more then the stock nozzle. It will be interesting to see one up close to see what they look like.
