Saw this on the Mean Chicken web site. Read the link and how they start inching away.
It is a proposal to close the Clark Fork and Bitterroot to "high speed" boating. PLEASE make a comment at the following link
http://fwp.mt.gov/recreation/publicComments/region2boatingRegs.html
The following was a request by the author of this article (mean chicken web site) ...""We all need to get together on this one. There is simply no reason to close these stretches of river. The so called conflicts are a non-issue as there has not been a single incidence of a powerboater causing an accident or injury on either of those rivers."" _________________ 2013 1775 Harbercraft Extreme |

Hey Jesse,
On behalf of all responsible riverboaters I have voted and left a comment supporting the latter. _________________ FORD=Power for the thrills of life!

I too, voted and left comment.
And after that I went on to read their rule book. I only know the names of a few MT rivers but there sure are a lot that are already closed to anything over 20hp. |

Voted on all of them and tried to leave as professional comments as possible. I will pass on the link to other boating sites to try and get more involved. |
