Can anyone comment on the advantages or disadvantages of a 200 compared to a 250 optimax ? |

The 250 runs the same pump but about 10% faster so at the same speed the 250 will run about 300 rpm slower , 250 is about 90 pounds heavier than 200 , 250 feels more like a v-8 (more thrust). 250 is no longer available . |

The 250 is also an optimax and the emissions levels should be the same as the 200 ??

They do not show a 250 anymore.
What do you builders say?
Hard to beat the power to weight of any of the SJ's...my 240Sj weighs less than my 115/80 OBJ _________________ If you ain't hittin bottom you ain't jetboatin! |

The new 200 for 2011 is a 3 star emissions rating;the 250 did not meet the 3 star standard and the volume was too low to justify the upgrade.
The new Canadian emission standards will hit the v8 market soon;no more carb motors and welcome to catalytic converters ..... |
