2010 Rat Roast is on May 29. Lots of boats usually make it a great time.
First hand will be located at the confluence of the Wapiti and Smokey rivers, everything then continues on upstream to the Rat shack for festivities.
Boats can put in at Magoos Landing, South of Grande Prairie off of Hiway 40, or at the Bezanson boat launch where Hiway 43 crosses the Smokey river, east of Grande Prairie.
First Hands sold @ 11:00a.m., last sold @ 4:00p.m.
Newly expanded parking area at Magoos landing, please park away from Weyerhaeuser haul road.

Made the trip up on Friday night for my first G.P Rat Roast! Don't know how many boats but quite a few. Nice folks, river was high.
What a set up at the shack WOW  That stuff does not happen on its own, So hats off to all the people that made it happen and to the river rats on there dedication to the sport. Truly a boating community!
On the way back to the trailer we ran into some unlucky boater's who blew a motor and needed a lift back to the trucks, very unfortunate deal.
Great event and nice people KUDOS 
P.S If you are ever in G.P and are hankering a ring in your thing hit up raz,s tattoo shop

| 2011 Rat Roast is coming up Saturday the 28th. Hopefully the rivers drop a bit but it will be a great event either way!!
