Hello everyone! Razz

Looking at a 1991 Outlaw 21' Sport out of Washington. I want to ship it (sight unseen) to Texas, but I cannot seem to find anyone even remotely aware of these boats. Notice most of the owners are up north.

Any advice on what to ask about. My plan is to use this as a haul booty lake boat.

besides making sure the motor is healthy, and the pump is not too dated, the first thing to find out is the condition of the bottom and sides (dents), it could be a battered up old race boat full of bondo. Rubber motor mounts would be best for lake use. The tunnels don't have alot of surface area and they don't even get on top of the water until 60+, but with 500hp+ and a good set up it will spank any glass jet with comparable or even more power. What does it have for power? Center rise exhaust would be an asset. If it doesn't have a diverter get one to keep porpoising under control. I'm no expert but it's the only advice you have.. so far. It is a sweet looking boat.
