Is there any differences besides colour? the plastic dealer told me there wasn't so I went with the white 300$ per 4'x10' sheet. I'm a newbie with a newboat thats not quite finished yet. Thanks

Same thing and it should be almost the same price! Not cheap stuff.

I think there is a higher strength UHMW available, and it is greyish black. Roger K's last build?

Manufacturers also add carbon black to plastics to make them more resistant to ultraviolet deterioration. (spyder cracking).

Is this full UHMW on your turbine build Confused

I guess it is full UHmw (3/8" )as its being installed to cover the whole bottom up to the chines and doubled up on the delta pad

Some coloured UHMW is recycled material and does not share the same strength and physical properties as the "virgin" white material. It does of course tend to be cheaper.

Do not get the recycled UHMW its really only good for trailer bunks etc... 100% Virgin UHMW is what you want. They also have titanium UHMW Cool

Greyish black has moly in it, when it is round. I would assume it is the same with the sheets. But you know what happens when you assume. It would be best if you call redwood plastics and ask for a definite description/difference.

hey jethrobuddy ..i believe the stuff your thinkin of is Nilotron,mostly used for bushings.pretty sure thats way different from the grey stuff that comes in the sheets.cheers
