Steven Ford spun out in the circuts ahead of him on the lower corner. Steve got going but left some pretty big waves when he got going. Travis being the super agressive driver that he is figured what the heck I will just keep it pinned and take the corner anyhow. Unfortionataly the boat skipped out of sideways and came down in the root of one of the waves and over she went. When we got there the boat was on its side and the guy were ok but it sure looked scary. _________________ Mark

Actually it is a blast as I actually have enough time to have a little fun at the races also. Before it was race, work, race, work and go home. The feeling you are getting is a cautionary thought of the guys that come up from fx. Fx is extremely competitive and I just was talking to a fx racer who was mentioning that his nav was upset that he didn't force his boat into a channel that was to tight for two boats. It may work in fx but I have seen the damage that can happen when going faster and things go wrong and it's not damage to boats that I am concerned with. If we have a death because if irresponsible act then the racing in Canada is over so it is up to us to race competitively but safe. _________________ Mark

racing is side by side , but for sure the +10-15 mph that CX has needs to be given consideration . the two or three wide into the channel didn't bother me in FX racin but those bridge pillars sure as fukk do ! i'd sooner hit the bushes ! ya let's hope everybody can stay safe ! _________________ Rick's Precision Machine

It is all good. Just to clarify I have no isuues with aggresive driving and regarding my coment regarding Travis, I think he is an awsome driver and he did not crash because he did something wrong. All I ment was that he was going for it as we all would. _________________ Mark

good stuff cause were looking for some of the speed magic you and Jesse got going, so with any luck you'll get to see some more of the orange flamed boat up beside you next year just so you know it was tunnel vision that spun and Steve went by . _________________ Rick's Precision Machine
