Well ..this could work..
You pour 2 gallons of JD down his throat..he will pass out.. leave a deck of cards on the table ...with his being the losing hand...you ..of course..will have a winning hand. The bill of sale ..made out to you convieniently made out to you ... when he comes to.. tell him how much you think his bet was just bad luck ..and you'll name the race boat after him.

Ok ...heres another suggestion.
Arm wrestle him for it ..if he starts to win ...punch him square in the balls and dont stop ..this will cause him to gasp for breath ...while hes gasping ...tell him if he gives you the boat ..you'll stop punching him square in the balls .... once it's your's ...you can trade it...
I have more suggestions if this doesnt work....
