From the launch on the reservoir to the falls is about 125 km. The last 28 km from the forestry trunk bridge is where the more technical stuff starts.
Advisable to travel with another boat. |

thats exactly where we stopped and it was great, the blackstone had enough water to run up but the other boat was unprotected and brand new so we didnt run up. i see eagle has a run in sept to the blackstone..... for a poker ralley. is it unrunable to go all the way up that late in the year? i'll prob be batchin it for that one and will want to go all the way up seeing as wife and daughter hav some horse thingy that day
