I really am having a hard time trying to figure out just what type of reception James was expecting to get from the paddlers; 1), A friendly wave, 2) a offer to share some cheese and crackers, 3) a date from the hottest gir therel!!!
Poor choice of river on that day. Just because you have the right to GO there does not make right to BE there. Lots of other rivers where a person can go and not bother the paddling crew.
Everyone needs to get along if we want to continue to boating on the rivers.
That still does not excuse the rock thrower. He's the last guy the paddlers would want on their side if someone was hurt.
Maybe he could go to a place where they like to throw rocks and it's socially accepted,,,,,,,,like the Gaza Strip or Iran. He'd have lots of buddys there.
